I'm Back! + New Book

//And I'm back!? A short pause happened, mostly because anxiety and a few extra things in school and prep for Högskoleprovet, but mostly anxiety. Unfortunately that's the case sometimes, and some things come in second hand.

But I have a new book! I love the podcast Fredagspodden, and the sisters who have that podcast have written a book about the Golden Year. It's kind of a thing where you take control of your life in a year. Hopefully, it'll help to take away some of the anxiety, we'll see!

Recipe: Rosemary Roasted Almonds
IMG_6266(red900)

I found this recipe over at A Beautiful Mess, and I decided to try it. I've changed some measurements though, so I will share the recipe with the measurements that I used!

IMG_6270(red900)

You Need

1/2 cup Almonds (2 dl)
2-3 tbsp finely chopped rosemary
1/2 tbsp of sea salt
1 tbsp olive oil

Put your oven at 350° Fahrenheit or 175° Celsius, and while it's warming up, chop your rosemary. Mix it together with the almonds, sea salt and oil. When the oven is ready, pour the almond mixture on a lined baking tray and roast for about 15 minutes, stirring the almonds for about every 5 minutes.

Let them cool completely before eating them, cause as it says in the ABM recipe, they're kinda chewy when not cooled.

This is the perfect healthy snack for Saturday nights in, if that's your deal. Otherwise, I think that mixing these with some great dark chocolate could be really tasty, or even some chocolate covered raisins!?

Let me now in the comments if you try them out!

From the shoot with Kajsa a couple of weeks ago. We saw these amazing flowers all over, and took some photos there on out way to the Library. I really like the light and the feel to these.

What do you guys think?

Govindas

IMG_6279(red900)

//Today's lunch at Govindas in Lund. First time I've tried indian food in a long time, due to the fact that I'm not that into spicy food, at least not when it's just hot spices. But this was delicious! Everything is vegetarian or vegan, and it's cheap. For 69 SEK (as a student), you get the three dishes of the day, salad, soup and a looot of bread + water. And you can get refills on the food if you like! I will definitely go there more than once.

5 Great Online Resources for Bloggers
5-great-online-sources-for-bloggers

//Finding good online resources isn't always the easiest thing, but it's one of the most important for a blogger. To take it a step further when reaching out to people can be hard, but with these pages, at least it's a bit easier. I've done this in the way that there's one tip for inspiration, one for research, one for learning, one for creating and one for spreading. Even if it's a moral, creativity or knowledge, it's to spread it. So, to stop me from babbling away, here goes!

1. Inspiration

Pinterest

Skärmavbild 2015-03-19 kl. 21.56.30

This is one of my favourite online resources. It can make your inspiration go from zero to maximum power in just a few minutes. It has pretty much anything, at least if you do your search in English. Names, techniques, you name it, it's there!

2. Researching

Youtube

Skärmavbild 2015-03-19 kl. 22.07.40

Most of you know Youtube, but Youtube really is your go to website for anything you need to research. It has everything from tutorials on make up to history videos, how to cook food properly and fashion reports - anything!

3. Learning

Skillshare

Skärmavbild 2015-03-19 kl. 22.11.56

Even though this resource isn't free (it's the only tip that costs anything and it's 8$ or 10$ a month), it's really worth it's value. Here you can find pretty much anything creative, learn it from masters and people that work with it, and then do your own projects! It's classes on anything from calligraphy to photography to how to make your own game or building up a website from scratch. Search and you'll find!

4. Creating

Polyvore

Skärmavbild 2015-03-19 kl. 22.15.01

Polyvore is the perfect resource for fashion collages. You can like things, sets and collections, as well as making them yourself. You can search for items to put in collages, both garments, accessories and make up, but also backgrounds, magazine pages, pictures and tumblr-worthy details.

5. Spreading

Bloglovin

Skärmavbild 2015-03-19 kl. 22.18.57

I can't push enough on this one - if you want people to follow your blog, then use Bloglovin. It's the easiest way, and people will check your blog when you put up a post, instead of clicking multiple times during the day, just to check if there's anything new up. Make sure that you have your own account, and that your account is connected to your blog. That looks more professional, and if there are multiple choices when searching for your blog, they know it's the one that has your account connected.

//That's it, my 5 best resources for making the best you can out of your blog! But remember what I wrote in this post. It's important to always stay professional, and stay away from as many copyrighted pictures as possible.
